Summer Solstice Sound Bath in Palm Desert

The summer solstice is the longest day of the year and marks the official beginning of summer in the Northern Hemisphere. It occurs when the Earth's tilt is most inclined towards the sun, resulting in the sun's highest position in the sky.

The summer solstice has been celebrated for centuries as a time of renewal, abundance, and growth in many spiritual traditions. It is often seen as a time to reflect on the past and set intentions for the future, as well as a time to honor the power of the sun and the natural world. The specific spiritual meaning may vary depending on the tradition or culture, but overall it is a time of connection, gratitude, and celebration.

A sound bath is a meditative experience where participants are surrounded by various sound frequencies to promote relaxation and well-being. A sound bath for the summer solstice is so powerful at this time, feeling the energy of the season and helping you connect with the earth's natural rhythms, honoring all the light within.

A heart-opening Sunday, connecting to the space within through cacao, breathwork, meditation, and sound healing. Dive within!

This guided experience combines the power of breathwork and sound healing to shift and transform your inner state, connecting to the space within.

We'll open our time together sharing cacao, a beautiful heart opening experience and ritual. Jay will then guide you through a beautiful combination of pranayama breath, the ancient healing practice of Ho’Oponopono, and meditation. The three-part breath allows us to access and release subconscious and emotional blockages in the body. This practice is powerful at healing emotional wounds, releasing stress, and inviting a deep sense of presence, inspiration and gratitude.

Once in this state, Bella will share an immersive, meditative and beautiful journey with sound. The orchestration of instruments including crystal singing bowls, planetary gong, and other healing instruments, will ease your body into a deeper state of calm, activating the parasympathetic nervous system to naturally heal the mind, body and soul.

Combining these three healing modalities and experiences together will bring clarity, peace, ease, and gratitude.

Join the Aligned Sound Bath Practitioner Winter 2023 cohort for their graduation sound bath experience. Trainees have spent 35+ hours diving into the world of sound and will share this multi-practitioner, immersive sound bath experience for our community using various singing bowls, gongs, and other healing instruments. After class, trainees will receive their certificate of completion and we'll welcome them into the sound healing community as a practitioner of sound.

Tips for taking in all the benefits of a sound bath

• Dress in comfortable clothing with layers to make sure you are not too warm/cold

• Bring blankets and pillows to be warm enough to lie down for about 60 minutes

• Keep an open mind and heart to receive!
